The first round of the Irish Championship took place at the excellent St. Annes track located in North Dublin, Ireland.

With very limited practice the NT1 performed excellently in the opening rounds to post the only 18 lapper of the day. The rain came for rounds 3 and 4, so the round 2 time was enough to secure the pole position.

More rain followed before the 30 minute final and the cars took to the grid on a damp to drying track. Tyre choice was a gamble as the clouds loomed in the horizon.

Fortunately my tyre selection was perfect and the NT1 came in first after the 30 minutes.

The NT1 performed brilliantly in both wet and dry conditions.

My next outing will be the Handy Models GP, Cotwolds, UK and then onto the 1st round of the BRCA Nationals at Tibshelf, UK.
